Holy Macaroni, that is epic. You HAVE to put that somewhere visible. Now I wish my name was Sohail. :transformer:

Ok, so, I'm thinking of selling my Taco... again. Don't need to sell just wanting to see if anyone's interested. The truck is beat up but it would be a shame to tear it up and make it a crawler when it's still so mechanically sound. It's pretty built, 68k miles. $14500 seems fair given it's gonna need a new paint job

    IMG_0876.jpg

I love this truck but if it went to a good home I'd really like a rock crawler

Didn't you drown it and is plagued by intermittent electrical problems?

Electrical problems turned out to be a bad starter and refused to start. I have receipts from a professional shop to back it up  once the new starter went in it's been working fine

It needs a new battery terminal but I'm gonna fix that before selling it

I'm not gonna try and hide anything with the truck. It's been wheeled hard. So feel free to ask any number of questions if you're interested

@Bigdaddy4760 problem is, for the cost of SASing it on leaf springs, and throwing a twin stick in it I can just buy a 1st gen 4Runner on tons and still have money left to over for a trailer and tuition

I haven't forgotten about you, Jose is redesigning the 4x4 part of the decal because the one I had was no good and didn't cut well. I tried cutting some for @KENNY but they didn't come out good so I cut the 4x4 part off and gave the TTC halves to @ChadsPride.

If it doesn't sell, which it probably won't, I'll hack it up when I get the cash. Idk every time I take the truck wheeling now I feel bad. The truck was so pretty before I got my hands on it :bananadead:

Plus, work is slow school is expensive and money is tight because of it

You should sit back, drink beer and plan the build. Don't do like me and just jump in to the fire and scramble to get materials delivered.

I have a spread sheet but with Toyota axles (stock rear) and leafs in the rear still it's north of 14000 with non beadlock wheels and only 37z :bananadead:

The price is fair. Especially considering such low miles and the mods. I think it will sell quick.

Thanks Ya'll! This forum has been absolutely fantastic to me. I will continue to repay this kindness to all of you here and the new members everywhere as well.

When I joined, one of the very first mods I did was the Devil Horn Emblem. Chad was immediately there encouraging me, and I really appreciated his sincerity and enthusiasm. Along this journey, key figures of the forum stood out and it's impossible not to mention Chad as one of them. I know he is a decent guy and has a big heart. He's a great mentor as well. I try to follow his lead as much as possible.

Fast forward 14 months, and here I am nearly 10k posts in, sub'd to nearly 80 threads, with countless new online friends, a couple I have had the opportunity to meet in person, and all of which, are some of the greatest people you could hope to meet. So much unconditional help is given here too!

However, likely my greatest achievement besides being accepted by so many people is that now I am an official member in a Texas Coalition Club for Tacoma's that was created by the very same person that helped me in the beginning.

    How freakin' cool is that?!

Here's to all of you, and especially to you Chad!

Hey y’all need some wise input.

As some of you know I recently got my truck back from repair From a tire wheel collision into a culvert ..
    Items replaced by shop

    Passenger side

    UCA
    Knuckle
    Hub bearing assy
    Wheel
    Tire
    “Straightened LCA tabs”

Went in for an alignment after I removed the Spacers. The tech (who is very knowledgeable and has been doing this for longer than Ive been alive) called me back to see the “SAI” spec

I know what it is but don’t know how important. I haven’t had any issues with driving so I’m not sure if this is something that pressing.

I will be taking it back to body shop but they’re claiming they didn’t see that.

    Thoughts?
