Personal preference, it’s a truck, it’s okay to ride like a truck. Mine is my daily, all the preload on 700’s and heavy Dakar’s out back. Build beefy and do it once.

 

My goal is to stay under 2k total. Including labor. Which is going to be dirt cheap since a local member is helping (by helping I mean doing most of the work) me to install the kit. I'm doing the ECGS bushing and new seal too while I'm at it. Got those from another member for free. I don't tow a lot but I do haul my trash to the dump every 6th week. It can be as much as 400 lbs or more. I also have a tandem axle 16' trailer and tow my 3 cyl diesel garden tractor but rarely. Mostly to haul yard debris to the recycle center.

I wanted the BP-51 kit but can't justify 3k+. Like you, I am selling some unused items to help fund this cause.

 

I was gonna say...when's the last time you went chunkin? It's almost that time of year again when it's nice to be outside. TTC Disc golf meet needs to happen

Yea, I like it to feel like a truck. I have a hybrid sedan for comfort. What I don't like is when it jumps sideways going over bridge deck joints at 65 mph. Or I get a little air going over elevated RR tracks LOL. I generally don't drive slow at all.

I mean... it's stock... but my Tundra drives like an Aston compared to the Taco. At least on road. Off road the Taco is fine. Not complaining just tryna give my $.02 before someone pulls the trigger on something i've experienced. The coilovers aren't bad over stuff like speed bumps, the Dakars though I swear make my rear tires leave the ground even just creeping over them. Its honestly kinda funny...
