I have this and other basic electrical information on a laminated little card in my ID badge holder so I can remind myself anytime I did anything electrical at work.

Oh yeah it is. Doesn't look like it's going to be much different throughout the entire weekend.

Admittedly I just know the hits, buy BTO is good music. Gets you in a good mood.

Short term sacrifice for long term pay off. People should look at what you're doing as an inspiration.

It's good sleeping weather, but the organizers of the DGR tomorrow have discussed cancelling it if the weather doesn't clear out. I won't be happy about that.

@Biscuits . TIP . IF You ever have to wire a
3 Phase 480 motor in the field be and have no prints just look at your cell phone key pad it right there .The electrician that taught our class was shocked because he never noticed it before 1 4-7 / 2 5-8 3 6-9.

I'm not an electrician by trade; I'm lucky I haven't electrocuted myself or burned down the refinery, but on more than one occasion I've had to pull a pump and motor out of the field for repairs at our conex or had to wire up a temporary equipment skid for a generator or shore power. Every little tip and reminder helps.

 

I have not had time to do squat .especially with the suuprise trip to Wisconsin out of the blue Wednesday wk today till 11 drive to Tulsa .Not going to happen this weekend either.

 

I am not either .i have to do all electrical and Mechanical work here and special projects .
All self taught and some classes . And my wife wonders why i don't want to work on stuff when i get home .Geez

Need Saturday morning hunting report.

 

Last time I was in Tulsa, I went drinking with a friend at some dive bar. Four buckets of beer later, I didn't understand why nothing was happening. Then I discovered the beer was limited to 3.2% ABW.

I have never been back.
