    Enlighten me. Why don't more peeps do this kind of bracket lift? I have this on my 86T4R (4") and love it. It seems to me that it would retain factory alignment better that aftermarket UCA's and such. Thumbs up from me. Be different.

    How about a custom, one off bumper? I posted one on FB TTC that my friend did. Same guy that did my custom TTC front skid. Don't know who's Taco yet but we need to get him on TTC if he's not here already. Check out Ironhead Fab in Hutto. I'll try to post a pic.

    "You have to cut the crossmember" "lower ground clearance" yada yada. All stuff that's repeated over and over on here.

    I'm with you on this. If I had a 4x4 Tacoma, it would be getting a 6" drop bracket lift. Maybe one day I will.

    Had a drop bracketed chebby z71 years ago was even a rough country beat the snot out of it. Never had any issues suspension wise. I say go for it, will still retain a stock like ride all the geometry will be true an most agree its the tire size that give you more diff clearence.

    Everything he does is custom. There is no inventory. No product page. Tell him what you want and he will give you a price. He actually works with me at our real jobs and does this on his own time for now. He wants to do it fulltime.

    my guess is most likely because of frame cutting involved, there is no going back after this mod.

    Yes, more permanent, but I don't think there is frame cutting. Maybe cutting brackets off frame to install drop brackets.
