Okay. How often do they do the sale and is it normally $40 less or more during other sales? Do they offer a TW discount on top of it? Sorry for the 20 questions lol

That remains my "bargain" upgrade - saving my monies for that - gathering info as I find it! You input is always appreciated.
Again, only reasons I was checking the rims is that they come with the tires. And for what I do, "tall and skinny" could be a bargain find for MPG, not so much for clearance. I like my "old wide chrome", but I also like efficiency!

So if you want a small lift with little to no cost I still have the spacer lift that came with the truck and the front shocks, I would be happy to donate to you for 12 pack of lager, even have the rear leaf bolts to go with it. Front shocks came off at 30k.

If it's any consolation, my tall skinny tires were lighter than my shorter wider ones and I picked up .3 mpg

So true that - bricks are bricks after all. And mine are not far off OEM specs, heck they are in the manual. I am not going for "radical size, or ultimate lift" at all. Truck is not a "daily driver", but of course it does all the work loads, and travels as far as I can take it for C&C fun! Work I have done so far has it from 16-18 mpg to a 17-19 mpg, so no one thing is going to be a "miracle cure". The one thing I have to get - Matt knows - is the tru-trac! Everything else is just "interesting", or as when Matt started out - "is this a bargain for me?"

That sounds like a bargain..... o_O
And here is where my slow process kicks in again! Shocks with springs on them - no compressor install? Rear leaf bolts? I have asked @MattCowsmasher about the lift in front raising the rear, but my confusion still reigns.

I would volunteer more beer than that though!

That's one of the things I was concerned with. This is my daily driver, so I picked the OME lift because it's designed for long-term durability, drivability and maintaining stock suspension geometry. I was planning to add the ARB bumper, so in my initial suspension package I opted for the 886 coils up frontand because I would have things like camping great, furniture and my motorcycle I opted for the OME HD Dakars in the rear. I also got the rock guards for the shocks, knowing that any protection is better than no protection. I ran that with the harsh ride, until recently when I got the ARB undertaker and it's a better ride now, although my alignments keep sucking.

I had one on my S10 and my S10 Blazer. It was a noticed improvement on-road, but hurt off-road performance.

Spacer a hockey puck up front on top of stock struts an probably a block that goes under the leafs to add height. The center pin is what Mark is referring to holds the lead pack an block together it’s really cheap less than 20$

Hmm, and thanks on both the above. My intentional off road will be trails, creek crossings, and the Park Roads to the top at HF. No crawling. No more mud holes. And this is my 4th Taco, much as my old memories are great, they are never going to be a luxury ride. But smooth enough on the street, and quick to damp rebound and bumps is good for a truck. I hadn't thought of the rear sway, but I know several guys from my stock car years that welded such up to the rear for better control, and that would make perfect sense for a truck!

I have the stock front shocks with spacers, also have the rear spacers to go with them. The ubolts for the rear leafs are available. Come to the house and we can knock it out for ya.

Hmm. This sounds very enticing, and I bet will be PM'ing you at some point. I would assume a weekend day?
