AR-10s have a harder recoil impulse, much like a SCAR. They can be pretty hard on optics. Holosun should still be good, though. Only one way to find out and they aren't expensive, either.

 

We’ll definitely find out, I need to make the trip to the coast to pick it up! Hoping my 19X is done soon too so I can just make the one trip.

 

Most guys I've seen run short .308s use aimpoint or vortex. Whatcha doing to your 19X?

 

Custom slide machining to compliment the PMM comp, RMR, a little bit of frame work and some cerakote work. It was supposed to be a few minor tweaks but it turned into a project, kind of like my truck.. money pit.

If you have a gun store around you that carries them, it would be a good idea to check them out, if only to determine red or green. I can tell you from experience, if your eyes have astigmatism, the green is the way to go!

Holosun makes optics for semi-auto pistols...if they know know to handle that level of recoil it shouldn't be a problem for an AR-10.
