I thought the city made it illegal to collect rain water

 

He and I are pretty far south of Houston so it is probably different for us.

 

I know here in Austin it is now.

 

Texas commission on environmental quality has deemed harvesting rainwater 100% legal in texas, they say 70% of domestic water needs can be met with collected rainwater.


Who knew...I always thought it was illegal too

 

I know the city of Austin was making people take down their collecting systems a couple of years ago. I'd rather water my garden with rain water than city water

I got that off the texas.gov website so I dunno. Maybe Austin has "special rules" for all the "special people"

I went and looked some land yesterday! 14 acres of hardwoods, split in two down the center by a massive creek, and a 2 acre pond already stocked!

 

Any of you have any experience or own a Pit Boss pellet smoker? They seem ok-ish for the price. I'm trying to ball on a budget here. Any other recommendations for pellet smokers?
