Yeah I'm sad they didn't compare torque or the vvti 4.7.
Iirc non vvti 4.7 has 315lbft and vvti has 271-282hp and 325lbft. But I wanna know how much torque the non-vvti 4.7 supercharged has

 

Where can I find/download off-road routes near San Antonio/Austin area or in general, Texas ?

I need a dedicated tablet for Gaia. I've nearly maxed out the storage I want to on my phone with offline maps of Texas and routes. Any recommendations?

 

Remember to ALWAYS respect private property. A lot of the dirt county roads go through private property and its fine to drive them but do not go off the road and do not get out of your vehicle or you will be trespassing

 

Very true. Trespassing is a big deal in Texas. There is nearly no public land, so always assume it's private.

I have a samsung galaxy tab a, maybe 7-8" with a big memory card. Thats what I have been using. Its got a GPS chip. You dont need much but i would get android tab (since they usually have gps chips) and one with expandable storage. Doesnt need too much HP

 

What about on Gaia? They don't always mark their posts.

 

Do they come with the GPS chip, or is that something I need to add?

 

Some of the samsung ones do...

maps can sometimes help and sometimes not... sometimes things change faster than maps. Looking for signs, purple posts, and what not is always your best bet. Also, the routes in TO's file section dont have many, private lands in the routes. You can feel pretty safe following those guidelines and common sense i think

 

I use a Samsung as well. It has been great. I have the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 inch screen. Super easy to use and see.

And gates are closed if you open one.

 

Great point. Always leave gates in the fashion you found them.

 

That's what we did on the first practice run. We kept our eyes out and maintained concerned that we weren't on private land closed every gate we opened.
