Happy Birthday @rocklobster2008 AND MANY MORE!!!!!!!

Pass the tanning butter! It's Fred Schneider's birthday today, the B-52s' singer, and architect of the infamous Rock Lobster. While writing the first B-52s' album in 1979, Schneider visited a dance club in Atlanta, Georgia called 2001. Instead of disco balls and light-up floors creating the mood, they had a simple wall projector with pictures of puppies, babies, and lobsters on a grill. Schneider was inspired by the oddness and brought the "Rock Lobster" title back to the B-52s as part of a jam session. The band added surf music riffs and fish noises to Schneider's spoken word—even including dissonant shrieks as an homage to Yoko Ono (who would join them performing the song live in 2012)—and the first B-52s party song was born. The tune spent eight weeks on the Billboard charts, and garnered the band instant international success. Not bad for a song about a bit of nautical nonsense!

My OCD forces me to learn things I will never ever need. It's fun though.

Oh, man, I can't be playing that. Be stuck in the empty skull for a long time! Still, a song for younger people, but I was still on the music fringe back then. Your birthday party should NOT be complete without this!

Anyone run Royal Purple in their rigs? I’ve only run Full Synthetic since owning it, but a Royal Purple oil change is actually cheaper than full synthetic...

Picking up the truck tomorrow mornin'. If anyone is willing to donate their time in exchange for some beer tomorrow or Sunday, I have a garage full of tools with air and a lot of little jobs that need to be done on the taco to get it up and running, would be awesome to get some help.

    Thanks y'all :oldglory:

Maybe Sunday. I have a mess to take care of though, and need the room to give the son some room. I though he would be working in Missouri, not living in TX. I holler at you though.

Well, you know @Beretta4x4 makes it really hard to use the "you're so far away" excuse! But if son starts his new job shortly, I lose my help, and man, I have discovered that I really need it in this heat! But, I may feel excited and need an excuse. I will let you know, because I know you have some stuff that I could easily help with.
