    It was completely dry lol. It's soaked now. I noticed it has a problem with the sear/hammer fitment. I'm going to contact Rock Island Monday and get an RMA. It should have a lifetime warranty.

    It's pretty common, no big deal. It happens from 1911s getting their slides slammed closed without a round in the chamber.

    It causes the sear noise to bounce and wear on the contact you the hammer. I had to have it fixed on my Springfield, too.
