Has anyone used this thread to order tires through Discount tire? I thought there was some kind of discount but was quoted the exact same price that I got when I checked online.

 

If you have a discount tire credit card you can get a 10% rebate in the form of a prepaid debit card.

 

They offerred me $40 mail in rebate if I used their card

 

And can get the tires through Walmart for $10/tire cheaper and $10/tire cheaper mounting but I'm a pretty loyal DT customer.

 

Hmm that doesn't seem right

I bought a 5qt jug from Walmart.com for $17 so basically after the rebate, Pennzoil will have paid me $5 to take 5 qts.of.full synthetic oil.

 

Nope, already old, no need to change.

 

Solid. It leaks oil from valve cover gaskets, rear cam seals, and crank seal. Other than that, good engine. Valve cover gasket and rear cam seals are an easy job, bout 3hrs. Crank seal, just replace when you do timing belt.

The 4.6 does pretty well, my brother in law has one. I think his towing capacity is just under 7,000 pounds. Gets about 17 mpg and hasn’t had any problems in the 60,000 miles he put on it.

 

Alright who has the Toyota parts Dept hook up here? Need to make a friend and order a few things soon.
