My solution was to move out of TravCo and Austin. Short term solution, because the idiots are creeping in up here as well, but at least I'm not paying city/county taxes to that abomination.

hah! To be fair, I am from Maine....the Texas of New England.... :)

I agree - I'm moving to Texas for Texas, not to bring RI with me to Texas...Never understood that whole thing.

I lived in Katy from '92-98, when there were only 3 exits off I-10. I think that # is 7 now.

Google Earth has a pretty cool tool called Timelapse, where you can see how an area has grown, from 1984 to 2018.

    https://earthengine.google.com/timelapse/

Here are a few screenshots of where I lived in Katy.

Initial review time for Toyota of Cedar Park.
I think we started with an ill-informed salesperson who told my wife of some options that, turns out, our vehicle down't have. We got a new '19 and these options do come with the new '20's. Honest mistake probably but still. Issues are basically remote start and Apple CarPlay. She was told it had it and it does not. Also haven't been able to get the Entune 3.0 to work.
So last week I mentioned this in a FB ad for Toyota of CP. Well, Julie Herrera (head honcho from TV commercials) contacted me first, wanting to meet and try to resolve any issue. Today Mark Trimble, CP Manager called. They are really going out of their way to make things right. Apply CarPlay is not an option that can be added to the '19 but remote start is and he offered to add it for free. He also offered to have us trade to a '20 with all the features we were promised and at no extra charge, just swap vehicles.
We are waiting to see what vehicle is offered before we make a decision.
So just putting this out there. Not only are they eager to make a sale, apparently they are willing to stand behind it.

FYI, he knows what I drive. He described it to a T, lol.

Glad it's working out for you, I've gotten called my Julie as well but only after a bad Google review. I guess that's what I don't like in my experience so far, I've had to make a public stink about things in order to get something very normal done there. And sales was never my problem, it's all been in service.

My initial contacted started after a little public stink also.
