I’ve got primitive camping spots at Big Bend Ranch State Park for Saturday and Sunday of the Labor Day weekend if anyone is interested in joining. My wife has backed out because of the heat. I will be scouting the area in preparation for a mtn bike trip in the late fall with one of my grandsons. Mainly driving trails and short mtn biking trips in the early morning and late afternoon, as well as doing some photography, including dark sky, so my hours will be varied. Prefer quieter people, long past the party animal stage in my life. Room for one additional vehicle. I will be staying in Presidio on Friday night and heading out to the park early Saturday morning.

 

After we mowed and trimmed, I needed my minerals for the day.



Bro lean! 5 pea gravel, 6 river rock, and 4 more egg rock to go with 6 I unloaded this morning . Ate them all up too! Now that I'm done, time for pool and a

I'm on the heating pad from yesterday, which isn't normal. But, I guess 21 bags of rocks isn't "Putz", it's "work on stuff". Here's where I ate all those stones. Two weeks ago, I re-did this path between the shed and greenhouse (for the fourth time), we both like it better. No more sand and little decomposed granite pieces in the pool.




So, that left some pavers stacked up, and the wife hates the granite that just hasn't worked into a nice pathway surface. So, bring on the rocks!

And, put off for all summer, the edge of the East fence where no one goes. When they put the new fence "back on our property", you have to get real skinny to get between the fence and AC. So, this;

Got ONE more little chore with the rocks, then I'm taking the day off! This week will have to be Putz, because I somehow have the rest of the medical appointments in the middle of every day except Tuesday and Friday. Have a great Sunday folks!
