A little something every chance we get.
You almost have someone trained. I heard Shave and a Haircut downtown, then your patented no rumble rumble, then a not obnoxious regular horn at my crossing. Figured there must be a local on the tracks. If it's not going to be you, keep sending trainees!!

So I ended up picking up these flares and finally got them all installed over the course of 6 months, or so. Install was a bit laborsome due to the on/off/on/off/on/off7D7DC7C5-7907-479F-93AC-04F061B35EA2.jpg DB9278F0-5579-4701-A956-07456D1EED3F.jpg 58623D07-5FBC-4C0C-B368-51AFC9AE7EC7.jpg 8827D1F8-42FB-4F95-A289-45654490BE1D.jpg 470CFE79-081A-443E-820C-287461B55305.jpg 528F63BB-97FA-43AC-8422-9D22140D18F1.jpg 8C272C58-5633-43B2-8C8C-39207416BCB7.jpg A5345C38-1D96-4B61-BBA5-759BBA02FC36.jpg required. Also got hung up for a while, intimidated by the need to modify the front ones because of my aftermarket bumper. All in all, very happy with the look, how secure they're attached and a little extra protection of stuff flying up from the tires...

They're large but look great. Did you have to mould that front fender flare to fit for the tube of the bumper like that? If so, that's a pretty freaking awesome job.

Yeah, had to bust out the dremmel and carve out some notches for the hoops since they ride so close to the fender. Didn't realize until I trimmed the length to the bumper line and tried to fit them in, thus the hangup on risking an eff-up on a few hundred $$ purchase. Grateful it worked out and not so afraid anymore!

I didn't think about warming them up and trying to mold a channel until after I'd cut the first one - would probably try that next time.
