When I search bumpers for 87 pickup, I get a ton of jeep winch bumpers in the search, and also a lot cheaper. Has anyone done this, and how are the possibilities it would actually work?
There are simply 4 bolts for bumper on the truck, shouldn’t be too hard to fab a bracket right?

 

Well let's see.....been "interesting" month. Survived covid and a once a generation arctic temp ice storm with snow and used recovery week and storm week to build a retro rigid hardtail 1x9 mtb. 2006 GT Avalanche 1.0 disc frame......yes the irony of the model name and the coincidental timing of the build and storm were intentional. I read the Farmer's Almanac and knew it was off by a week. Named the new to me vintage retro build CBD.....for Covid Be Damned. Didn't build a bike last year and see what happened? So, we're good on this year's build and now covid will fade into the sunset and we'll all be able to resume life as we knew it a coupla yrs ago.....your welcome. But Joe can still send us another check for our troubles........




First ride on it was last Monday in the snow...

I’m back. I’ve been gone for a little over a year, dabbling in the sprinter camper van world. But not being able to get to work during that snow storm was the last straw for me. I bought another 2019 pro today, picking it up Monday morning. Same truck I had before but an auto instead of MT this time.
