    just my observation,
Looking at the posters it seems to be only 5 folks that post and nothing more than morning greetings.

I ain’t faultin anyone, this BS PLANDEMIC
Cut the legs out from under many folks and I am sure for most of us we have reevaluated what we spend our time doing.
It definitely excised many out of the “contacts” list. I know I am one of those that is outside the circle, not an issue for me, just an observation that the club is dying if it is not already dead.
Plus the Facebook posts are another indicator.

Well, since you made the observation, do you have an idea on breathing life into it again?

or is this more related to a previous post a few years back where you left all upset over something and stop posting?

the pandemic thing is a factor for sure, and a hard one to overcome right now. but there are still ways... I spent 30 days camping last year, and met some very interesting people at a recent overland event in Arkansas that I am still in daily contact with.

Lets hear some Ideas... nothing is too stupid or silly at this point.. it might actually lead to something

Anyone make it to the Toy Drive in Leander this morn? That would have been a TTC event.

yeah, I left not cause I was being a pussy,
I left due to other members bullshit directed at me and left TW due to assholes on here that are trolls, not my scene.

now as far as ideas, someone else take the helm, or better yet, more than one take the helm and organize events that matter to members, which means members need to be asked. While Hidden Falls is cool, not everyone wants or can go off-road. Remember this is supposed to be ALL Toyotas… I think the new Supra might have an issue 4 wheelin.

besides, I am not sure many folks really care if TTC is a physical group or a virtual group. Like you going to AK and meeting folks, most people are doing other things.

without cars and coffee the car scene is rather dead unless you want to hangout with the ricers, or the euro crowd….

there is always Texas Heat Wave which is an expensive “show” which is actually more like a bodybuilding contest than a meetup.

now I have made an observation and I have said I am not within the circle, by that standard I am the last one to make any kind of suggestion for reconstituting TTC in any way. Now, I have tried to get some of y’all out to my place for either money making opportunities, or for a beer and burger thing……no one ever took up the offer. This is one reason many folks have just faded out or shined TTC on, lack of interest in anything other than what was specifically sanctioned.

one person can’t do it all, there needs to be several people who can provide direction and options. Just like Lake Days, why is that the only TTC BBQ I have ever been invited to? Why has there not been an interest in Formula 1 attendance when it is here?, or Moto GP? Or NASCAR? Concerts? Veterans Day parades? Memorial Day flag planting?

no one has ever asked is why. Clubs thrive due to new blood and involving themselves in events that are going on. Yes, the fake super death bug crap stopped a bunch of this, this year most of the stuff has come back. Hell CnC is going on in other states, Texas CnC has not updated anything since 2019. COTA is open, masks and vaccines can not be forced in TX, yet, CnC has not resumed, there was rumor of a meeting place starting in March of 2020……it is Dec. 2020 and this never happened.

alright, I’m off the box now and I think I am starting to ramble on.

there are some ideas and stuff to think over in this.

Well, I see that as a very useful thing you said there. I enjoy taking my truck offroad, but not the hardcore break and tear things up kind. running down the beach or some forest service fire roads are fine with me, and some light rock crawling. I am more of the go spend 10 days in the woods kind of off roader.

the sports car side of is just as valid, and like you said there is hard to find an event where both can enjoy the same thing. Perhaps, it is time for "subchapters" to spring up that can cater to the different owners, hard core, mild, Don't even think of getting my truck dirty, and the sports car side

far as events at your place, I am not sure how often the offer was made. but I know I am super busy at the best of times. it is easy to miss things, or just not fit my schedule. I was supposed to be on the beach this weekend, but last minute events forced a change of plans. no big deal, I will just do it another time..

thanks for posting your thoughts, perhaps it will spur a discussion and ignite the spark in everyone again, to find what portion of TTC fits there focus
