    We had a bit of a family emergency that put us down in the valley, my mother in-law fell and hit her head and face really bad on some concrete. there was concern of concussion and fractures, so my wife wanted to be there for a few days.

    We originally had a trip to PINS planned for this weekend, but that was going to be canceled due to a rush job at work. So the when we found out we was going to be 90 miles from South Padre Island, we packed the camping gear, just in case. having the RTT and the RIGID boxes for the camping gear has made a last minute trip much easier to do.

    After spending 3 days with her parents, my wife felt that the situation was stable enough she felt comfortable leaving, and since she still had a couple days before having to be at work, we took the last minute detour to SPI and spent two relaxing day enjoying the time, even if the weather was less than perfect.
