I am going to install a newer larger unit and redo the entire system but right now theres a premium cost to do so. So I'm waiting until it starts cooling down a little to go ahead and pull the trigger on that. Probably end up doing our shop at the same time.

Vehicle mounted weapons systems are always fun. Got to throw some Mark 19 rounds down range a couple times. that is a literal blast.

    Yes.
    Morning Y'all.

For those asking about the TRD Rear Sway bar on my Tundra.... I removed the front sway bar when I did the lift. Highway handling got pretty sketchy on 35s with 2.5" of lift up front on a big heavy truck.
Rather than put the stock sway bar back on, which required new ends, new bushings, and new bolts all around I decided to order the TRD Front sway bar from the Sequoia which is a direct bolt on for my Tundra. That should be here later this week.

The rear sway bar alone, even without the front made the drive to work today a lot nicer. I'm sure off road performance took a hit, but as I said my Tundra is 98% pavement princess. And it's easy to remove the links if I want to take it through anything crazy. :)

Yeah they sold it off before they moved and I guess the newer owners couldn't keep it afloat. They said there was so much harassment and backlash from the older folks in the area...they said they had protesters at one point lol

Anyone know if the TPMS warning range can be adjusted to a lower pressure? Mine goes off at 30 lbs and I'd like to set to something lower like 25lbs. For proper contact patch my tires are at 30 and the warning light is constantly on unless I drive long distances.

I'd be down to set something up in the coming weeks. I'll be back in town August 11th so sometime after that. I still need to check out Best of the west gun range. I can bring my glock 19, 30-30 Winchester, IO ak47, and the deuce deuce hornet.

Adjust your tire pressures to where you want them, then reset the TPMS. That "should" reset the valid range around the current tire pressure. This works on 2nd gen, but not sure about 3rd gen

I tend to overfill mine, reset the tpms, then adjust the pressure down some so that I get the warning at 2-3 lbs down as opposed to 5-6 that I see.

Cool to hear, I might pull the trigger on one then. My Tundra is only 2WD anyway, it's a milage and tow pig

That'd be sweet!! I can buy some ammo if you'd be willing to show me around what you've got. Shooting an ak47 would be fkn awesome

    Heads up yall!
This is exactly why I say oil based stains are the devil!

If you want to use oil base you must must must let it air out totally flat or it can an will spontaneously combust!

Someone tossed their rags in the trash can at the job site an 1am rolls around to homeowner an neighbor notice the garage up in flames!
10 mins later would have burned the whole property down.

Or..., dispose of the rags in an airtight metal can, like the ones we had in shop class back when most of you weren't even a glint in your daddy's eye. Oil base stain doesn't burn wood, lazy morons burn wood.

It’s a blessing and a curse, only if you have a job that requires you to shave. Any wet shavers in here? I just got into it, shaving used to be a chore and now it’s more relaxing.
