I was thinkin' about it, probably can't afford it by the time I get my fucking POS on the road again tho. would you be willing to let me try it out sometime?!

I wouldn't need too much, just the gun its self, some ammo to shoot it/keep it loaded, and a holster for my belt and for inside the truck. I'd probably invest in some sort of lock box as well for the truck(s)

    Any websites you'd recommend?

Same, but I don't really have anything else to shoot besides my little .223 which feels the exact same

Go by GT Distributors off of Burton, near top golf. They still have a few Sig p226 in .40. Also have plenty of police surplus ammo. Pistols going for $279.99

Used but checked by a quality gunsmith

Better prices, locally, on defensive ammo, too. They have the 50-round Law Enforcement packages so no need to deal with 20-round boxes. Great prices there!

That's why I had a 6.5 Grendel upper built...

I don't have that many through any one gun. Just 13k in 1 Beretta, 5k through my Springfield 1911 and the others average around 1k each.

I'm in the same predicament. My bike's 10k service will run me about $400, it needs tires so another $300 or so and my Taco needs lower control arms, CV boot, upper control arms and a bunch of small things.

Damn! And I thought my rule of 1k was good lol. My Beretta with 13k shattered the firing pin at 9k but it kept firing with no problems until I did a full teardown at 10k to inspect it. The carbon buildup in the firing pin channel made up for the broken sections and that us how I figured it was still firing. I would trust that gun to go to Hell and back.
