It seems to me like all the members live in the Pheonix area or higher. Are there any members who live in Tucson? I was just wondering because I see tons of Tacomas and never know if its a membr or not and just wave anyway. I normally get the WTF look though. If you are from the Tucson area then you should reply to this thread!

Will (zombie) and I are the most active Tucson guys. Will sold his Taco so I am really the only guy left that has a truck. There are a few guys that chime in occasionally but you are correct, most people are in Phoenix.

I am always down for exploring, wrenching, or just bullshitting. I will be back in town on Wednsday.

Haha, well Mr zombie. I just finished 4 and a half years in the Marines. If you weren't assholes, well then I don't thinker would get along very well. I live out in Marana but I am in Tucson a lot since Marana isn't actually a town haha. Chase was the only guy I knew about who lived here. At least a few more guys chimed in.

Mike, I laughed at your response about being an asshole. Zombie, thinks we are assholes.. Us military guys just call that normal.

I am all over town but I am up Marana area quite a bit, either going to the PIMA Gun Club, riding my motorcycle out Oracle, golfing, or jsut fucking around. I am always game to get together for a BS session, talking shop/war stories, working on trucks, or what ever. I work down at Raytheon airport site but have every other friday off and know a few good trails to explore that are not extreme at all and am always looking for more.

Drop me a PM and I will send you my cell number. I am back in town tomorrow until christmas time.

NW tucson also but i don't drive my clapped out taco everyday. Wouldn't mind meeting ya'all, on a side note anyone climbed MT. Fagan off highway 83? It's hell-a-high @ 6175 above sea level you can see picacho peak from up there. We should do a run up that sometime when i can borrow a 4wd.

Glad to get everyone talking. I dont really have an awesomely loaded Tacoma and I am still trying to test my limits a bit but I love it and everything I have done in it so far. I am always down to do just about anything and as soon as I get some more funding in and take care of the family the truck will be getting all my attention. Thanks a lot for speaking out guys. Its nice to know there are more members down here.

I am in Tucson and would love to meet up with some people that know the area better than I do. I have only been here a year, so I don't know were any Taco rated trails are. I have been to a few places in my Rubicon, but they are definately not rated for my Taco.
I do need to finish my leaf lift before I can go anywhere offroad!

I'm within driving distance of Tucson and have been wanting to try out some of the trails I've seen in Chas's pics :D Does that count?

I did a ton of shit in my truck when it was stock, even went up to Crown King with Chas bone ass stock except for a set of one week old sliders and sway bar delete! I have a reg cab so the short wheelbase helped, but don't doubt what that Taco can do in stock form! I learned a LOT about my truck and wheeling in general back then, I'm glad these guys coaxed me out there to try it, because I *know* I'm a better driver, have better judgement, and understand the truck a lot better than if I waited until the truck was modded the fuck out to start wheeling it. :) Even if you're an experienced off-roader, it pays to learn the limits of the truck in its stock form - and also makes you appreciate your upgrades a lot more.
