Tucson Bi-weekly dinner/drinks meet

Its hit or miss. I know I will take a hit on some of it, but the TRD supercharger should give it a little boost because its a "factory" item.

We will just have to see, it all has to do with easy of the deal and things like that. I might post it up for sale soon here as well, jsut to see.

He loves his Taco, but I don't think he will miss it that much.

 

I know the down falls of the jeep over the Taco. I have spend a LOT of time in jeeps on my company travel. Its a trade off.

There is a possibility I will put the truck back to "mostly" stock an sell off the big parts. If I do that the local AZ guys get first dibs.. The supercharger wont go through.

I am still kicking around what I am going to do.

Right now I can get a 2011 Jeep Rubicon for 27,000 with 22K miles and in perfect condition.

 

Lemme know man. I want some parts haha!

i had a jeep until about 3 years ago, it was a beast on the trails, but anything hi speed desert and daily driving was a night mare!

And yeah, Andrews YJ beats the shit out of me off road but I dont have to keep replacing engine mounts, steering components and all that other good stuff just to drive on the road. On the Oracle Control Road all the bolts holding his transmission to the jeep rattled out and we had to ratchet strap it to the frame haha! Yours will be newer and nicer though.

 

Yea there are trade offs both ways. That hemi swap will be legit though

Fuck, finding a decent used jeep is harder to find than a virgin stripper in Vegas. I have come across a few and they were snatched up almost instantly or the guys wanted WAY more for them than they are worth. I have searched as far away as Salt Lake City, Texas, Colorado, Vegas, LA, etc.

 

Anyone down to grab a beer or 2 tomorrow? I will be down in the area about 6pm and basically just hanging out at the hotel. Let me know.

I'm alive. Been helping my mom move. She lost her house and with school and the holidays coming up I have been freaking crushed under everything. I'd be down to meet up though.

 

Yeah, my buddy just bought a 93 YJ with dodge axles and 37 Interco SS with custom everything from the armor to the topper, brand new motor, brand new tranny, brand new everything for 5,000 because the dudes wife said he needed to get rid of it.

 

Should have texted me man. I wish I would check this more. I would have met up especially since you were down here so far from home.
