CB is 27 MHz AM modulation so no go on transceiving on any of the baofeng channels... but thats why you got the hand held :D

The factory battery is pretty meh if you are going to use it handheld style. deff invest in an extended batt pack if you arent going to get hte 12v adapter thing. We struggled to get a full 12hr day on a charge. i'm pumped. now I get to talk to (annoy) all yall

It seems like there are a wide variety of testing facilities in the area . How are those air shocks working for you?

The Firestone RideRite bags are doing the job for now - real test will be when I hang a trailer on there. Should be OK though they've helped every outfit I've installed them on before.. Really needs a bit more leaf spring to go with them. Install has a really sloowww leak that I can't find. Will have to drop the spare and get under there for a while with some soapy water and work through the whole install joint by joint. I hate those "push on" fittings they never work reliably.

Firestone seems like the popular choice with the air shock crowd. Do you do a lot of hauling?

Don't haul a trailer too often - but when I do its usually like.... WE'RE LEAVING NOW(?). And I hate making a long trip with my headlights aimed at the sky.... The stocker leaf springs are still in there and just with the usual junk I carry around - tool boxes, stall mat, and so on - it takes 20 psi in the springs just to settle it. Need about an inch or inch and a half more leaf height.
