Got back from a really nice weekend only to hear that Pelfreybilt is on the ropes. Things they could have told me when I placed my bumper order a week ago. So much for going with "the best."

I did a 50% deposit with Pelfrey, so there's that. A lot of other people are in the paid-in-full-and-pissed-as-hell category. I used a credit card too, so chances are good that I'll get my money back without too much drama if need be. Gonna wait until they release their statement, hopefully soon, to make any moves. I'm guessing the situation is really bad if they need operating capital. Just blows me away that they can be sitting on so many orders worth thousands and thousands of dollars and not feel the need to be up front and honest with their customers. Really speaks volumes.

There's some inside info that I've heard. I really don't think this was something that has been a graduating circumstance. The pelfreys are good people and I doubt anyone will get screwed. However, if your looking to get anything anytime soon I wouldn't hold my breath. Money will be refunded or you'll just have to wait awhile for your product. Personally, I think they just need a better business model and some time to re organize and they will figure things out. Just about every company that gets that big that fast will have some issues. I favor brute force and relentless because I've witnessed some of the abuse they take and I've seen them both go through business struggles and overcome. They have longer wait times, but there's a reason for that. Just my 2 CENTS
