The back side of Mt Lemmon is a great beginner trail and can be done in a stock Tacoma... 4wd recommend but not really needed.

As long as it hasn't been raining and you don't try anything dumb. It runs from the top of Mt. Lemmon by the Fire Station all the way to Oracle. It's pretty heavily traveled on the weekends. You'll also have to drive back around the mountains (or back up).

Awesome, I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation. Still would love to meet some local guys and go for a run.

Sadly, I'm not local anymore. There are a lot of great people in Tucson on here though.

No worries. And just watched a youtube video of the back road, looks pretty easy, like no 4wd even needed, dirt road but scenic. Will have to give it a run. Thanks!

No problem. Reddington Road is another place with a lot of options for pretty easy off roading.

Back road down my lemon is definitely 2wd friendly. Same with reddington pass. If you want to wheel there's places off either to go explore. Reddington mostly.

It was beautiful. Camped around 8800’. It cooled off pretty good at night but would have been fine in a tent still.

I'd be in for a sunday morning easy or moderate level trip to redington.

I was in Sedona last weekend and drove Broken Arrow trail. It was a lot of fun if any of you havent done it before. Go early though because there are a TON of those pink jeep tours out there.

Hey guys, just wanted to say thank you all for the positive vibes. Got the truck back and it’s in surprisingly great shape. Not a lot of details from TPD but it seems like it was on its way to Mexico when they found it. Found it all locked up and most of my gear still in it.

That being said, I’m down for a trail run soon.
