    Hey Tuscon guys,
My gf is having a water polo tournament at U of A and its too late for me to find a hotel. I might have a shell by this weekend and the tournament is next weekend. Any ideas where I could camp at that wouldn't be busy or anything? Or am I better off finding a hotel last minute?

Dude theres so many hotels in that area. I can't believe you wouldnt be able to find a room. As far as free camping, I think sabino Canyon area has free camping, not sure though. All the camp spots are pretty far from the U.

The Trident on Speedway right by the UA is pretty good. Its owned by a former navy seal. The Barrio down in the industrial side of town is pretty good grub and great beer. Lindys on 4th ave has awesome burgers and was featured on Man vs. Food. Tap and Bottle closer to down town has awesome microbrews but they dont serve food, but you can hit Lindys then pretty much walk to Tap and Bottle.

There is a lot of good stuff near UofA. Definitely check out University Blvd for food and drink Frog and Firkin and No Anchovies are cool spots. You can take the street car down to 4th and downtown from there. Like Zona said, Lindys has some good burgers. Tons of stuff downtown.

You'll have a good time. Things are a bit quiet around here right now since football is out of season and basketball is on the road this week. 4th ave, University, and Congress are the big college bar areas. University is closest to the U but you can walk to 4th from Uni and then walk to Congress if need be. University also has Gentle Bens brewery there and a place called "No Anchovies" which is a pizza and beer place.

I'm in! The next two weekends won't work for me, but it seems like either the 12th or 19th of March will at this point.

I'm thinking next Sunday but we can figure it out once everyone's on the same page. Anyone ever been up to chimney rock in reddington? Decent Sunday drive pre runner friendly in a beautiful area.
