This is a follow up to my post on another thread. I thought it deserved its own header.

I ordered the Tuf Skinz glovebox lettering in Lunar Rock in mid-December (12th, I think). They took 2 weeks to get it to me and when it arrived it looked like this:

I didn’t like how the lettering looked. It didn’t accurately match the paint so I sent it back within approx two or three days after receipt.

Refund just posted today approximately one month after I ordered it. My personal opinion is that this transaction took way too long.

Email I received from Tuf Skinz is they’re changing the color but trying to get rid of existing inventory first. Hmmm. If you want the Tuf Skinz lettering take a close look before ordering because you might just get the old version.

Tacos4Cheap has a much more accurate and cheaper product. They ship a lot faster, too.

I understand your concern. I have the Tuf Skinz but in red. My truck is Barcelona red and the the color doesn't match exactly but it is pretty close and since it is not right up against the body color, it looks perfectly fine. The Tuf Skinz seem to be of very nice quality and were super simple to install. I hope the other brand you bought are of similar quality! Good luck!

Got mine Tuf Skinz in red as well about a week ago and just got around to putting it on today - no issue with the color since my truck is black so good contrast with the body as well as the interior.
