So I had a buddy give me a set of 09 tundra TRD struts and springs.

Here is my question, 1st can I use the struts and springs in the front of my 1st gen.

If not can I use the trd springs on billy 5100s?

    Thanks

yea i dont know , i am guessing that the struts will not work. Ok fine
but the springs are stock for the tundra should be just right withr the taco 5100s.

I need to measure the coils and post it up. Does anyone know the measurements for the taco coils.

I know shocks from the first gen tundra work because I run those...don't know about the second gen. My springs are 16" eibachs for a second gen tacoma. Dont know if any of that helps....

2nd gen Tundra struts will not fit. I run 1st gen Tundra springs and Tundra 5100s, but the newer ones are too big.

Hey sorry to bump such an old thread, but this is the only thread I could find with people who have 1st gens using tundra coils/struts.

I was wondering on a first gen how much lift could I expect from swapping out my stock coils for tundra coils?

I'm only looking for 2" of lift, so I was just thinking of buying some replacement 1st gen tundra coil overs and swapping them out for my stock setup for a rather inexpensive suspension lift
