I'm pretty sure it's for any first gen and
Yeah they bolt right up you just have to take a few threads off the banjo bolt. I put the banjo bolt in a vice and used a 3/8 drill bit to drill it out.

That may be the part I'm having trouble visualizing. Is it like the photo on this page, you removed the line, drilled it out a little bigger at the fitting and then sourced a new bolt to screw into the caliper?

Hope this helps. You just need to make the banjo bolt shorter so it will sit in the caliper all the way. You could probably cut it with a angle grinder if you had to.

What size wheels are you running? I have 15x8" Method wheels and want to do this upgrade but I don't think they will fit over Tundra disc brakes.

    ^^,
You can try it with your 15" wheels but I'm certain you will need 16"s. The calipers are much larger than stock.
When I did this up-grade, the 16" wheels I had didn't fit. Found a pair or stock spares and no problem.

    Good luck.

Im almost positive you cant run 15s with this. I have the stock 16x7 and the caliper is really close.

Thanks. Most of the reviews I read said the same but I wasnt sure if that was true with OE parts vice aftermarket.

Awesome...Thanks for posting this. I've been thinking about doing this upgrade for a while since I pull a trailer.

Thanks, that helps. If I do this mod I may try to source a new bolt first to butcher. I can see myself trying to hack the original bolt and wind up being without the truck for days.

And so, to confirm ... :) no new proportioning valve or master cylinder needed, huh? I have a hazy memory of other cars where if you upgraded one end of the car the other's inherent stopping power essentially became diminished unless you "sent" proportionally more fluid to it. In other words, a front brake upgrade sounds great but not if it means the rear brakes do even less, percentage-wise? I realize the fronts will always do more than rears but don't think exaggerating that would be a good idea for stability, if that's what happen here.

Also, I presume the 13WL caliper won't work unless you run 17" rims. On the other hand, the S13WE is likely "enough" of an upgrade (can you ever really have too much braking power?).

Ive never read anything about needing a
new proportioning valve or master cylinder
So I'm not sure. And @Blackdawg said some 16s fit and all 17s fit

I'm running the 13WL calipers with 16" wheels. Here's more info on that upgrade:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/yet-another-tacoma-brake-upgrade-to-tundra.362722/

However, before the thread in the link above was created, I used the following (links below) to find the correct part numbers and explanation on the brake line fitting: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tundra-brakes-on-03-tacoma.240112/

IIRC, there are two versions of this up-grade. The 13WL you refer to are the larger of the 2 which is what I have. Again, the stock spare wheels clear and no issues.
My bad... I should have mentioned that in my previous post.

    Hope this helps y'all.

Your better off buying ss lines so you wont have to worry about drilling and only trimming the back shield. 15'' wheels will not work on these, only 16'' will and of course with the right back spacing. These will fit all first gen Tacoma. From 95.5 up to 2000 those were fitted with 15'' wheels, where as the 2001-2004 had the 16'' which also came with the first gen tundra that is why they fit.
