37’s are the new 33’s. Big kids are moving to 40’s and 42’s nowadays. Can’t lose with 42’s ya know

I'm thinking the uniball mounted to the spindle is going to be a bit easier for packaging (which I've seen most done this way). The spindle was going to be as wide as the bearing mounting surface if it was mounted to the UCA instead. Also, looks like if I want the coilover and bypass close together, Ill either need a J-arm setup or a wider arm that wraps around both. The component I am not sure about yet is how the CV axle runs through both of them. Clearance I'm sure will be tight. I dont want to push the shock anymore forward due to the steering tie rod.

We struggled on 37’s in Colorado the last time we took the truck out there. But that’s mostly because the truck is 90” wide. Gonna be taking the wife’s 4runner on 33’s from here on out

Slaughterhouse Gulch Trail was fun. Except the biting flies that were swarming like locusts anytime we set foot out of the truck. Airing down/up sucked, they just laughed at bug spray.

Do you recall the total length you took off the driveshaft for the spring under?

I'm sorry. I don't remember exactly. I also have the tundra axle which required a shorter driveshaft to begin with. I think flange to flange, it was in the 68 range. I think no more than a couple of inches. It wasn't much. Just needed it to fully plunge at droop.

Whelp...after like 3 years with the stock 4.30 gears and no locker in the tundra axle, finally bought some new gears and a rear locker haha. Couldn't pass up the 90% off at nitro.

Nah, just parts. I'll do the work myself.
