I've got practically stock suspension on my 2009 Taco and my friend has a stock Tundra. I would like to do some suspension upgrades to show him who's boss but I know nothing about suspension and I do not have much money to work with. I'm not really looking for a lift. I'd like to be able to use my truck to off road but I also tow quite regularly with it. Any suggestions or comments???

Nothing you can do other then a facial. The Tundra is the boss...I would just deal with it.

I would save your pennies for a real lift/suspension that will be a noticeable difference in better ride quality.

Cheap lifts are not really worth it. Also stay away from spacer and block lifts. They are cheap lifts. There is a suspension guide on here somewhere I'll get you a link.

I dont think I have spacers, I think the aftermarket rims make the wheels stick out so far. I am 100% sure there is a leveling kit in the front though do to the ARB bumper.

Practically nothing right now. I am just trying to get an idea of what some of this would cost. I live near a huge lake and people come from all over the state to off road there. Ive done some very minimal rock crawling in it but I was afraid to break something.

Are you really jajaja'ing right now? It took me a solid 6 months to realize my Puerto Rican friends were laughing in text messages. I thought they were "yes yes yessing" in german.

@RedYoda2009 Nobody is going to be able to give you suspension help without a budget. The difference between a 500, 1000, 1500, and 2000+ dollar lift is substantial in regards to ride quality and longevity.

Right now I drive about 3 hours on the turnpike each weekend (80mph) so I don't really want anything rough either.

I think until I actually pay off the truck probably $500 would be my max budget.

Isn't that a lift kit? Would that improve off road capability?
