Idk either if the next generation of taco's are gas or diesel. There's the big push to build EV's in the near future. Rising costs of natural gas and oil plus proposing a carbon tax, its going to be expensive to have a vehicle that runs on fossil fuels if we keep heading in the direction we've been. I just don't think this country is ready to go full ev yet.

Well i committed to keeping the tundra. Went all in on upgrades to freshen it up. 35.5 inch tires , winch bumper and winch , rock sliders , pedal comander, powertrax lsd, and a full dobinsons kit. Pic with new tires, working on bumper and suspension this week

I really liked my gen1 tundra, but the 4.7 v8 was a gas hound. After 19 years and nearly 300k miles it was time to let it go...it still ran great. In jan. of 2020 i saw this pandemic coming with no better time to make my decision to try my first tacoma...new tundras were just too big and still gas hungry so it was a no brainer. All in all, super happy with the tacoma, it was the right choice for me.
