Does anyone know if you can put Tundra driver and passenger leather seats into our trucks successfully?

If it is possible, it is only worth doing if it adds asswarmers too.

well ass warmers and a leather seat thats cheaper than getting a leather upgrade kit for 500$ which is outrageous.

Ive just been looking for a set of TRD sport seats out of the second gen. I want to take my rear bench seat out and put those in the back.

But to answer your question, with the access cab i think that might work... i just dont know about mounting and all that junk

If they aren't much wider than the Tacoma's seats... probably with a custom bracket?

Aren't the Tundra seats a fair bit higher from the floor to the seat than the Tacoma's? I'm thinking you wouldn't have much for head room, not to mention, ou would probably have to modify the seatbelt mounting points and get rid of the console, which is not good.

I would give up a center console for comfortable and power seats.
I just tripped across this thread and was thinking of the new Tacomas that are coming out, I am surprised they don't have power seats.
    Maybe RAV4 seats would work....

There are so many threads on this, all without answers. I just made a new friend with an 08 tundra, ill see if hes willing to let me try to put em in my 05 taco. I imagine youll have to take the rails off the taco seats and somehow attach them to the tundra seats. Then theres the question of if they're too wide or not.

4Runner seats might also work. From what ive learned (and ive researched alot cuz i REALLY want a power seat) you cannot just bolt anything in, it requires a lot of modification for any seat to fit.

I took seats out of a tundra and put them in my old T100.... had to chop off the mounting brackets and weld new ones on to make it fit.

The T100 is a little bigger than the taco though... might have to take out the center console to make them fit.

I got 2004 leather heated beige seats from a Sienna. No idea what they will fit or what modifications they will need...

I don't have a tacoma anymore...and my 4runner is the wrong color interior to try them on....
