That's not very long. Are you going to nut them on the back side or actually cutting your own threads? What are you screwing them into?

Going through the metal, gasket, topper and threading into an aluminum plate (one on top, bottom, front and rear) that is inside... Which is threaded for each hole.

Cool. Let me know if you need something different if what you ordered doesn't work.

    Thanks, they should work.

The issue is i don't know exactly how thick the fiberglass is where the panel will go since the window assembly is there. And once i take that out i want to make sure I've got long enough screws to put the panel in!

But with the gasket I'm thinking I'll be a little shorter than I want for a good thread depth so I'd rather be safe then sorry.

And it'll give me time to maybe take off the wrap and paint it instead. It just sucks with something so small, painting won't take long, but prepping and cleaning up the gun afterwards will take the most time.

When you have too much to work on, it's ALWAYS a great idea to buy more projects to start on!

New screws for the panel arrived yesterday, may sand it and try to paint it tonight.

Still need to finish modding the hellas with hids and then work on mounting them.

Haven't even touched my additional camera module.

After being in fruita last weekend, i decided it was time to buy an awning since summer is here. Picking up a Rhino Rack Foxwing awning which i plan to modify to be self supporting like the Alu Cab. Its just over 25% of the cost of the Alu Cab right now, so i should be able to make it happen and save some good dough.

Also need to re spool the winch line that came off after i let it out too much after a recovery. I cleaned the line off so it should be dry and ready to be reattached tonight.

That one is only as long as the bed, and probably won't cover the rear door. The regular rhino rack foxwing is almost as long as both of my racks... 98" long which is about the same as the alu cab.

I though about going with the Eco which is a little shorter.. but screw it!

This is what i meant about the awning being much bigger than the other one. :)

Similar in size with the alu cab.

Next order of business will be figuring out how to mount it yet fit in a standard garage.

Then how to modify it to be self supporting.
