It was. I usually start with butter instead of coconut oil, might have to grab some for the rest of them since it gets too hot to quickly.

Thanks. It's been rainy the last week or so, haven't seen rain in a while. Some guy I was talking to said if I planned on getting up to Inuvik that I better get on it... Or I might die in a blizzard. It's too far out of the way, just going to hit up Prudhoe Bay.

Next stop is to grab a Sourtoe Cocktail while in Dawson City. :goingcrazy:

    C'mon, picture, load!

Nice little troopy that left before i could go harass the owners.

This website was on it though.

Picture won't load... Full 4g service but won't do much. It was a tan and had a sleeper thing up top, some metal traction boards on the side.

Last night in Whitehorse the sky would go dark between 1:30-2:30am.

Today near Mayo... The sun no longer fully sets, it stays lit up all night long.

Saw another grizzly cub a little while ago, very skittish so i only got pictures from a good distance.

Time for me to get my shit together and hit up Dawson City. Free pancakes, then free BBQ is calling my name.

Then wash it down with a sore sourtoe cocktail.

Austin, you have any update on this?

I thought Sept 11th changed all this and Passport (or the Card they now offer) or Enhanced DL required now, Seems military orders should still work too.

From what I gathered, a state issued ID and birth certificate will get you into Canada, but could potentially not fly when trying to get back into the states. Seems like a passport is the only sure bet. I won't be going this week needless to say.

The drink is only served 9-11... So it's getting close.

On other notes, propane tank still feels like it has a decent amount left in it. I've got a mini stove so I'll probably just run it out just so i know how long it lasts.

Hoping the weather shapes up since i was going to stay in Dawson for a few days before getting into Alaska.

Officially a member of the Sourtoe Cocktail Club. The worst part was him setting down that long scrangley toe with the nail on it.

You had to take your shot and toe had to touch your lips.

The same building techniques were used on this bench. I found 2011 marked on it but it appears older. They have have a nice foot rest, is similar in comfort to our bench but they used some bolts and nails. Amateurs! :D

Me as well. It started as fairly firm in spots. But apparently you only get one cross before it turns into quicksand.
