You guys in Mass talk to Sean, find him on this Tuner Map, he's a good guy and offers all the most common tunes.

He tuned both my 20 and my daughters 16 and we're both very happy with the results.

Thanks @Fatback17; I checked out that map and I see his social media accounts, but I don’t use Facebook or Instagram (because I’m a stodgy old man). Is he a member here? Not sure how else I’d reach out to him?

I have the KD Max tune AND 5.29 Nitro Gears. Runs way better at freeway speed. No more ping pong shifting (gear hunting).
Very touchy down low though. Some might say too responsive. Have to baby the pedal in town.

All in all, I am still disappointed in how much money I have had to put into a brand new truck to try and make it drive like it should. IMO, the gen one trucks were the sweet spot, and they only went downhill from there. Size wise, and performance wise.
Just my opinion. Your mileage may vary.

I'm probably gonna trade it in soon. Don't have 50 posts, or I would list it here.

We're crossing our fingers that VF will have the needed PID's in the near future. It's much easier to log with VF than TS, lol.

I definitely think its worth it. Get a couple mpgs more, better pickup, less pronounced 2nd gear torque dip, and even harder pull to redline which is higher too. Tuned on 91+ and never looking back.

Hope in one hand, shit in the other and see what fills up first….

TS is now and real. It’s not that hard. Use it.

    Wrong about what?
2.0 released(2020) tune has advanced ignition tables. Can it run both octane? Yes, even stock can. But both ping and don't have stable kclv, especially in summer under the load.
Even your posts on vftuner forum stated that you had to dial down the values in ignition tables to get to desire values and octane switching cause lower kclv than expected.

    I'm confused...

For a variety of reasons, vF moves at the speed of smell. That’s not an insult to vF, it’s just reality. If you wait, you are losing time and data.

I understand that, but it was announced to be released soon, and I have had a glimpse at it while testing the new A25A Camry ECU. So it's definitely nearing a finalized release.
