    Hi all,
96 Tacoma 2WD 2.4L F2RZ-N83 engine. After a misfire in cyl 1 i changed plugs, wires, rotor button, distributor cap, and ignition coil. Fired right up, drive about 5 miles, no skip, ran great. 20 minutes later, it won't start. I changed ignition coils thinking i may have a bad one, but still no start. Tried starting fluid into the air box, it sputtered a bit, but never would start.
Has anybody run into this before and/or have any suggestions for me? My better half is fussing because our trash needs taken to the dump!
    Thanks!

If it sputtered when shooting it with some starting fluid I would check the fuel filter or fuel pressure

Adding starting fliud and it sputtered tells me it could be fuel source problem

Did you forget to tighten a ground? I know I've left the plenum ground loose on my 5VZ after a tune up, it ran great until it didn't and I ended up stuck on the side of the road for 30 minutes til I figured out what I did.
Not sure if there is a ground specific to the fuel system on a 2.4, but that could explain the symptoms.
