    Hi,
    New member here.

I recently bought a 2018 sport with 13k miles. I immediately upgraded to 33in tires. I feel like the shifting and general power has drastically declined.

My question is do I need to re-tune in order to accommodate the wheel and tire change? Will that help? Thanks for any feedback in advance.

Welcome. :hattip: You may want to re-gear at that tire size but not a must. 4.88 or 5.29.
OV tune is very popular and offers tunes for geared trucks. I run it stock and I would never go back.
Search OVtune and re-gear here and on google. Google is easier and will point you back to the right spot here.
And careful, there are sharks in these waters...:D

Shift Sense Pro will help the transmission stay in the right gear instead of hunt for the highest possible gear all the time.

might not be as good as OV Tune but it’s affordable and effective.

I’ve also read lots of good about pedal commander. Although I have no experience personally.

Your most effective "re-tune" is S mode and ECT. Drive it like you mean it in the gear you choose.
Don't be afraid to keep the revs high. That is how it was designed.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate it. I'm a first time Tacoma owner. Coming from a Wrangler that I did most of the modifications and upgrades on myself. So I want to make sure before I pull the trigger on anything with my new truck.
