    Pro won't be necessary unless you plan on tuning others or you need the forced induction patch.

    vF tuner regular if you want to flash tune files yourself or even create your own. vF Pro if you want to create locked tunes to sell, which is why you'd lock them. or you can ask and a bunch of folks here will hook you up and flash the tune for you. i prefer to do it myself so i vote vF. then you'll have to either create your tune file or purchase a tune file. there are some good ones around TW.

    one of user here o D3 helped me with POS OVTUNE ignition & valve timing tables.
    D3 uses output shaft speeds for their shifting maps. No sure why would you call them a scam...

    My comment wasn't to the users of the software.

    Besides the obvious that I posted above, here's another detail about the company/owners:

    The business license for D3 Performance was "involuntarily ended", and has been for quite some time. You can verify yourself since looking up businesses is quite easy and because the link to the Texas Taxable Entity website only takes you to the main search page.

    If I were looking for a company to go with, both of those reasons are enough for me to say "nope".
