Test drove one finally, there's a massive restriction in power in 1st gear I havent seen mentioned yet.

The boost goes only to about 60% then once fully in 2nd, its boogie time. Very peppy and pleased with performance after 2nd

I'd almost want a full power mode in 1st when ECT is turned on as part of a tune. I wouldnt want more boost demanding premium fuel, but man I want to know when I put it down it gives me the beans.

Tundra and 2.4 Highlanders are both the same, protect driveline, encourage calm acceleration.

Looking forward to seeing if Toyota makes a "TRD Tune" like the Tundra is getting.

Wait, there is an ECT? I thought it died. Long live the ECT button.

I can’t wait seeing the threads where people boost this thing up to 500 hp and the engine blows up.

Yup, it was a sr5 I didn’t see a sport mode but I didn’t really spend much time looking. Maybe higher trims have modes and lower is ect
