Too much involved in a turbo setup to just slap one on. Anyone know a good ECU program to use? Without someone tuning it right it will be shit

no way the tuning is the easy part. I did it on my friends car with a piggy back ecu and a wide band and a butt dyno

I scratch-built a turbo setup for my 2000 S10 pickup, had a between $700-$1000 into it, ran 5-6 psi. Pretty sweet!

Realistically you only need an ebay blowoff valve, ebay piping kits are ok with good clamps, ebay intercooler, you should get a good name wastegate because thats what will blow your motor if it goes bad, a cast iron manifold, used turbo from a junkyard, and a few other random parts. If I had an older taco and didnt care I would do it. But a really good setup should cost 2000-3000 all said and done

Thats pretty impressive for 6.5psi 231whp/272 ft lb. I wonder what that guy is using for engine management.
