Yeah that's what I've been doing I just wanted to make sure I know it's a cheap wastegate but even if end up getting a turbosmart or Something better I'll still be under $1800 for this build

IMG_5501.jpg So I put the resistor in the connector for the EGR and the check engine light comes on and still. Does anyone think it IMG_5502.jpg could be one of these two things here

OK so the wastegate is good now it's at 3 PSI so I can put the manual boost to adjust up a little bit and I went to AutoZone and they did a code check and I have the code P0171 fuel system to lean go figure

Where do you have that Vac line from your FPR connected to?

That's why your running lean. You need to hook that up to a boost referenced source. You can use one of the 3 points on top of your throttle body. That is what tells the FPR to up the fuel for boost

You can get rid of one of the vac hoses that comes from your EGR valve and cap it off at the EGR. Then hook up your FPR vac line to the nipple on the throttle body that you opened up by doing that. Your EGR won't care since you have the resistor installed now

Yeah you should be good now. Kind of scary thinking you were making 10+ psi with your FPR not hooked up!

I know right:eek: now it's down to 3 and I'll use the manual boost controller to bring it up to maybe 6

That'll work much better. 5-6 should be good on stock fuel and no IC. That's what alot of off the shelf kits are designed for

Why would a manual boost controller not adjust it stays at three or four and it never goes any higher no matter where I put it

Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
That would make 0... All exhaust would bypass the turbo
