Sorry, for asking. It seems this should have been covered but I am finding nothing in searches. I read several threads on people being told just buy the super charger and not waste the time and money on a turbo. Or to go buy a V6. Im not sure if you can get the V6 in the 2wd, Regular cab, short bed, 5-speed and I already got this truck for hella cheap.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a turbo kit for a 2006 2.7L?
If not do you know a shop in a state around CO that has done a turbo on a 2.7L?

I was able to piece mine together with a slight help from parts from a supercharger kit.

I didn't either so I read read read, watched online tutorials/videos and followed Turbo BS thread for a while to supercharge... ended up using too small a supercharger and then tried my hand at turbo. I'd copy my kit for you but don't think I can get another exhaust manifold, was a stroke of luck the company made it for me slightly different than they usually do [they aren't inclined to make one off pieces, only sell what they have on hand].

I did, uses stock gasket with built in velocity stacks and seats for the runners.
    Billet aluminum, she's thick :D

    Made to accept this guy
    (80mm Hemi throttle body)

Inputs for Bosch IAT sensor and mini vacuum manifold

    Fits like a glove

Thanks, just saw your name change. Don't think I'd caught your Turtle build before, if you still have it he she looks like a prime candidate for a 4x4 conversion

    edit:
just read it... you did! lol
    and turbo'd it too NICE!

Havent converted it yet but Im thinking a 4wd swap is definitely in my future and ill be using a fj tcase like you. Did you run an FJ AWD diff tube to eliminate the ADD? Im thinking about doing that..

It hasnt been turbo'd yet, but ive been strongly considering it and doing my research. Kinda depends on if LCE releases a 2tr supercharger this year. Would rather go with a positive displacement s/c than turbo.. or maybe both since theyd be on different sides of the motor..

Haha yes, a very long list of things i "need"

Thanks for the post about the ADD. I remember reading that now that you mentioned it. I think since ill have to source all the parts ill just get the diff tube from the FJC

Wow awesome build man, talented fabricator. I've been searching for the past 2 years for a aftermarket intake manifold, found one in Thailand through ig, those guys specialize modifying the 2TR engines. But the language barrier. Got a translator to see if they would sell the manifold but no reply back. Even in the states many refused to make one.

Hows the performance and throttle response ?
If you ever make one again and sell your old one I'll buy it from you.

I won't be selling mine but I can have more made. I don't have any extra fuel rails on hand but I do have another set of plates for the intake, you'll have to weld the runners on (I can provide those too).
