So it seems like the big Jan. 20th meet is still somewhat undecided and I know several people have either already requested the time off or just aren't interested in that big of a meet. I'm proposing a turkey creek camp out for that weekend instead. Mostly for anyone in SOAZ that can't make the trip north or anyone that just isn't interested in that big of a meet. My life is chaotic right now so I'm not even sure if this is something I can make myself but I figured I'd start this to see who is or would be interested. I don't necessarily want to organize a big meet but several have shown interest in this so post up if you would like to do this as an alternative to going north on the 20th and we can start putting together a plan!

Routes from the previous jeepandrew rug road campout ...

Route 3 (Tucson 2wd route) Route travels east on I-10 83 miles to Willcox, exiting the highway and turn left onto Rex Allen Dr/Ft Grant Rd, which crosses over I-10 and heads north 31 miles to Bonita/Aravaipa Rd and the end of pavement. From there, its north on Bonita/Aravaipa for 42 miles, passing by the small former ghosttown of Klondyke and through to Aravaipa canyon/Turkey Creek.

    Main Campsite coords (approximate)
    32.87787 -11043545

Route 2 (Phoenix 2wd route) Route starts in Phoenix on US-60 through Apache Junct, Superior, Miami, and on to US-70 east of Globe, passing San Carlos, Peridot and Emery. 6-7 miles southeast of Ft Thomas, a right turn off of US 70 onto graded dirt Klondyke Rd. Travel west for 20-25 miles to Bonita/Aravaipa Rd and turn right, passing the former ghosttown of Klondyke and on to Aravaipa Canyon/Turkey Creek.

Turn coordinates for Hwy-70/Klondyke Rd (Right-hand turn)
    32.947174 -109.911682

Turn Coordinates for Bonita/Aravaipa Rd (Also right-hand turn)
    32.766346 -110.240562

Trail 4x4 required? I'm down to make the drive down with @freddy2923, if the Meet up here doesn't fall through.

Did you want to set coordinates for the meet up or should Tucson trucks caravan out?

Let me reiterate the fact that I may not be able to make it. I just wanted a set place for this to get organized as lately everything has been a last minute shit show. If someone wants to, feel free to take the bull by the horns and set this up proper.
Tagging the guys I know might have interest but haven't seen the thread... conflict free trip here guys...
