That is an awesome pic man. Almost looks like a pic you would see in a hunting magazine.
You did a great job of concealing the rope you have them tied up with.;)j/k

Now go get that turkey tag for you and the boy!!!

thanks Brian. Yeah I'm real proud of my tough little rednecks. They jumped right on their 20gauge last year at 8 years old with no fear, and have yet to admit to it 'hurting' when they shoot.:D

I roosted a nice one last weekend, got up at 3am, set up with him gobbling. we talked for about 30 minutes and eventually he just stopped and I never saw or heard from him again. Judging from his tracks, he's a big one.

That is awesome dude!!^^^ I'd love to see those pics man.

Took my daughter last saturday, it was her turn to go first. We pounded the hills and hollers of brown county till she was wore out. We had several gobbling, and had one longbeard give us a slip on the next ridge at 100 yards. Had a great time and hope to get them on birds the next 3 weekends.
I did get my bird Wednesday, just not overly excited, I would rather of had one of my kids on him, unfortunately school is first for them. I believe if my daughter was older and stronger I would have been able to put her in front of the bird that passed by us. I just don't want to beat the kids down too hard trompin' the hills of the Hoosier National forest.

Here's a few pics of mine, but I wish it was the kids. Hopefully those pics will be coming soon!!

Family poser, except momma taking the pic...........

    some pretty good hooks..........

Great birds Bill!! Congrats to you both.

My son and I tromped the woods hard yesterday and only came home with 6 mushrooms and some great memories. Heard a few gobbling, set up on one, but he gobbled as he moved away rather quickly, tells me he had hens with him dragging him off. My daughter gets next turn. Hunting with kids is harder than I thought it would be, but we're sure having fun chasin' them birds!:D
