    I'm in the Gainesville area as well. And we've been hunting almost ever morning. Killed a few birds but going every day this weekend hoping to get a couple more.

    Went last weekend to Ocala for quota hunt didn't see or hear a bird at all. Wasted fuel and money won't put in again for that hunt. Still had a good time relaxing by the fire

    The birds on my property are roosting right now the fence and pitch over to the neighbors property every single morning, and his property is nothing but fields so as soon as they hit the ground they'll gobble at me a few times and hang around for about a hour by the fence but wont cross and then they get tired of being there and strike out. I have no clue what to do to get them to stay on my land.

    well i called one in saturday morning. it was small before i could say dont shoot my dad blasted it. we were up by fisheating creek. it was the only bird we had a shot at.
