Turn off long beep when locking doors with doors open

Do you have the door lock sound turned off? I turned mine off and I am pretty certain I do not get a long beep when i use the keyfob to lock. Kids are always slow getting out so I do it often. And it certainly locks because they have shut the door and then realized they left a shoe or some other crap in the truck and i had to unlock it to get in.

Pull radio and dash bezels off. Pull four 10mm screws to get the instrument panel out. Disconnect the harnesses. A bunch of torx to get the panel apart. Clip the speaker and reassemble.

Be careful as the instrument needles will be exposed.
