It’s because you still have power on such as radio, USB power and what not. The truck is essentially on the “on” position if it were to have an ignition switch. Notice how you won’t get power in the truck unless you press the button?

The picture in my post was taken when I turned the truck on to accessory or power mode. I turned the truck ON and the message was still there.

I have had a couple issues lately come up that I just noticed. When I turn the tuck off the dome lights don't come on immediately. They wait a second or two.

Also this morning after I put it park, I pressed the ignition button and the engine shut off but everything else acted like accessory mode and stayed on.

I wonder if my ignition switch is going bad

Just had this happened again...and I could not get the message to go away. After starting and stopping the truck several times, going from reverse to park to drive...nothing was working. I finally decide to just try unplugged my usb charger that was in my cigarette lighter outlet, my gopro was plugged in (and has been for awhile)...and then i turned the truck off and the message went away. I don't know if it was coincidence or what but I may have to visit the dealer about this. I recorded a video (a pretty shitty one) so I can at least show them that if it becomes an issue.

Edit; just happened again. I immediately pulled out my cigarette lighter usb charger and it went off as normal. My GoPro is messed up and won’t turn on now and I think that is causing it. No idea how, but once it’s unplugged the message goes away.

I had this same issue while charging my radios via the cigarette charger. If it wasn’t for this post I’d be at the dealership tomorrow! Thanks.
