Turn signal comes on solid when pressing brake on my 2007 Tacoma

    Had same problem. It was the aftermarket trailer light module that was installed six months previous. Replaced it and that one failed during first winter. Relocated replacement to dry location behind tail light. OK since.

    Thanks for the clarification on "stop light" fuse. I'll check that out soon. I will also try the WD40 on connectors and verifying that the trailer light module is not in a wet location. I don't think it is buy will check. I really appreciate all the good suggestions and hope one of them works soon. Will advise if one does and which one it is.

    I forgot to close out this thread after the problem went away. I replaced all rear lights and the problem was still there. Then after a couple of days the turn signal light just quit coming on for no apparent reason. I guess I'll never know what caused it, but at least it's stopped occurring.
