    Taking the dash apart is the method in the manual probably. But its the silliest route i can think of. That's like taking off your tires in order to check the oil. Its competely accessible without turning a screw or scraping a knuckle.

    Yes the chevy boys especially any of them that had anything to do with the s10 didnt have simplicity or common sense in mind...

    Is the stalk switch a real bear to change out? Stupid expensive??

    Don't know the price. I'm sure it's the same procedure to change it as install intermittent wiper switch (which I need to do soon). From what I've read in write-ups and watched in videos, it isn't hard to do at all.

    Ahh, from your wording in the post i quoted i thought maybe it was a real pain to do. Didnt figure it would be too much trouble but ive never messed with anything in that particular area on either of my rigs..

    No, that was just the s10 that was a pain. As for replacing the flashing module in a Tacoma...no clue where it is, yet :)
    But replacing the actual turn signal switch is just a few screws in the steering column.

    Thank you pointing out the fact that this thread is 18 months old... Maybe, just maybe I wanted to know what his problem was and how he fixed it. And maybe I'm having the same problem.
