I have an 02 with a brand new electrical problem, my rear right turn signal decides when it wants to work. At first I thought the light bulb needed to be replaced, so I changed it and that fixed the issue for about two days then it started all over again. The turn signal acts like the light bulb is bad, but its good and the funny thing is it works when it wants to. Is this some relay problem? The wiring is good and the bulb is in the socket tight and has good contact. This little issue is driving my OCD crazy!

My 98 has the exact same problem. I haven't done it yet but I was going to replace the connector back there. If I turn the signal on and reach under there and jiggle the wires by the connector the blinker comes back on. It's either a lose wire or the connector contacts are corroded enough to not contact well.

I'm going to recheck all of the wires sometime this weekend when I have a chance. I hope it's something as easy as that and not some gremlin that I'll never find.
